Our mission is to provide free diapers, wipes, training pants, and adult incontinence products to families in need while raising awareness of the basic health need for diapers through collaborative community relationships that promote health, wellness, dignity, and independence.
Our Vision is to eliminate the diaper need in Kershaw, Chester, & Lancaster County. United for Baby along with our sister organization Power in Changing is here in South Carolina looking forward to day when all incontinence needs are fulfilled.
We treat everyone the way we would want to be treated.
We want to assist families in being able to reduce their need.
We work hard to bring awareness to product needs in our state.
We remind ourselves continually why we are here– to help fill a need.
We are driven in what we do and we want to grow rapidly to help the community.
We believe in the power of bouncing back and getting back on our feet; we value the spirit of lifting each other up.

United for Baby was founded by Shameka Huff in 2021 after having several pregnant foster youth placed in her home with no supplies, equipment, or knowledge of infant care. Ms. Huff became aware quickly that these young ladies could only get assistance for formula and food, but not the needed supplies to care for their baby; so she took charge of assisting them in getting the needed diapers and supplies to properly care for their children. Shameka knew that as these young ladies left her home and went out on their own the need would still be there and they needed a reliable resource for support, infant care, and advice; United for Baby was created to help fill the needs of these families.
